Once upon a time, in the bustling streets of New Delhi, a young girl named Tanu Jain dreamt of making a difference in the world. Born into a middle-class Jain family on July 17, 1986, Tanu's upbringing instilled in her values of hard work, compassion, and service to society. She completed her schooling at Cambridge Public School, Srinivaspuri, where her journey towards excellence began.

Tanu's academic journey took her to Subharti Dental College in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, where she pursued her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree. However, despite excelling in her studies, Tanu felt a deep-seated desire to impact lives on a broader scale. It was during this time that she stumbled upon the idea of pursuing a career in the civil services, inspired by a distant relative who served as a civil servant. This realization ignited a fire within her, propelling her towards her newfound aspiration of becoming an IAS officer.

With unwavering determination and a heart full of ambition, Tanu embarked on her UPSC journey. In 2012, she took her first step towards this goal, clearing the preliminary stage of the UPSC examination. Although she faced setbacks along the way, Tanu's resilience shone through, and in her third attempt in 2014, she achieved a commendable rank of 648, marking a significant milestone in her journey.

But Tanu's story didn't end there. Fuelled by her passion for serving society and making a meaningful impact, she continued to push the boundaries of her potential. With just two months of intensive preparation, Tanu cleared the UPSC Preliminary examination, showcasing her unparalleled dedication and perseverance.

In 2015, Tanu Jain's dreams turned into reality as she donned the prestigious title of an IAS officer, serving as an Assistant Director at DRDO. However, her journey didn't stop here. Driven by her desire to guide and mentor future civil servants, Tanu founded Tathastu Institute of Civil Services, where she imparted valuable insights and strategies to UPSC aspirants.

Despite her success as an IAS officer, Tanu felt a calling to do more. Fueled by her firsthand experience of the challenges faced by UPSC aspirants, she made the bold decision to resign from her position after seven and a half years of service. Her decision to become a full-time educator stemmed from her passion for addressing the difficulties faced by aspirants and guiding them towards success.
